I, Absentee began January 01, 2008. The label exists outside of any specific aesthetics, with only a few acts comprising the core roster. The majority of the artists are a revolving door of musicians, constantly shifting and cycling. After three years of functioning as a traditional label, we will embark on a year long campaign of non-profit releases for 2011, donating proceeds to various charities whose causes we support.
